Green Building Design Magazine Recognizes Sungloss Marble’s Green Restoration Practices

We are honored by the wonderful article Jamie Ludwig wrote for the October 2010 Green Building Design Magazine issue.   The article highlights many of the environmentally-friendly and sustainable practices Sungloss has been following for years.

Beginning with a quote from our owner, Mike Pavilon, about restoration techniques that avoid producing toxic debris or wasting water, the article discusses the many ways Sungloss commits to helping the environment.

It also cites a stone restoration (perhaps more accurately, stone resuscitation) project we did in the Administration and Public Safety Complex in Elk Grove Village, which resulted in LEED Gold certification.

The article closes with Mike’s reminder of marble’s longevity (citing ancient ruins), illustrating how granite, marble, sandstone, terrazzo, limestone, and other natural stone care, restoration, and repair, can ensure commercial and residential customers enjoy their natural stone for generations to come.
